Gaming psp newbie help!

I am going to buy a psp and i wanted to know everything I need to know about the hacking and mods about it.
and how do you play psp games through a memory stick.
does a new psp come with a memory stick.
p.s me or now one I know has good soldering skills. maybe my dad.
p.s I am in Japan. cant puntuate right on my grandmas computer

To play ISOs and homebrew games on your PSP you need to install custom firmware. (No soldering required)

The PSP used to come with a 1GB Memory Stick PRO DUO a while back, though I'm not sure if it does now?

Just buy yourself at least a 2GB Memory Stick PRO DUO as PSP games can get as large as 1.8GB
