All done inserting the translated english text with the main story now.

Going to start on the NPCs now.

Also in the bonus content, there are 4 vastly different endings for the last chapters.
The endings are very interesting.

Alright I have finished inserting and testing the data in the bonus chapters. I will try to release a patch sometime tomorrow.

I need people to help me find typos, bugs and other issues. I have played through all the endings and I think I have found every NPC and etc but it possible I missed some.

When the patch is out, I'll make another post on those forums and see if I can dredge up any help for you. I'm pretty sure I should be able to get at least a couple of takers.

Hopefully I'll be able to get right back into looking for any typos and the sort and script help after this is out! Again, sorry I fell out of posting anything.

It is what everyone has been waiting for...

We have finished translating all the PSP bonus content in LPR and created a patch with about 98% of the content in the game translated.
All 4 bonus chapters are in English now. There are four endings to the bonus materials.

I want to give a huge thanks to Hatsubai who has translated almost 95% of the PSP bonus content in LPR for the patch.

Here is the latest patch v0.3.0:
(download)

I labeled it as v0.3.0. I will release a new patch as v1.0.0 once we get some of the typos, bugs and grammar fixed.

I need help with people to play through the game and report back any typos, bugs, grammar issues or missing NPC text.

If you find any, please take a screenshot if possible and please tell me what chapter and where in the chapter the issue is. I will fix as many as people find.

I have no plans to translate the images, fix the random item / name generator or use variable width font.
If you ask me to fix them, I will ignore you.
If you are interested in fixing it yourself, I am more than willing to include your fixes in the patch.

At some point, someone should make a FAQ for the PSP version of LPR. If anyone wants me to post a basic guide to get all the good endings for the PSP bonus content let me know.

Anyways...

I plan to move onto working on Phantom Kingdom Portable for PSP using the PS2 script.
(Phantom Kingdom Portable GBATemp Board)

Enjoy the patch.

Thanks for translating this ChepChep and Hatsubai. I hate to bring bad news but i did find some issues with the translation.
in some spots where there are no text boxes some letters are missing,also items, equips, and character names have reverted back to Japanese. some locations are in Japanese but I'm not sure if those are pictures or not. I don't how far in to the game these issues go cause I just started playing.

vhan1088,

I just checked the patch and everything looks fine. My guess is that the iso that you patched is not a clean iso.

You need either an iso made yourself from the UMD version or a clean version of the cvn-lpr from the UMD. If you try to apply the patch to any iso already with a patch or the PSN version of the game, it will have issues like you are seeing.

Try to acquire a "clean" UMD version of the iso of LPR.

    Only Xbox I don't have is the OG, and One X model specifically, I regret giving my chipped OG model to one of my kids years ago, after later hearing he sold it to pawn shop, damn kids!

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856

    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
