lol im lame~~ (thats the reason of the edit)

that means its a software error? tried flashing any fw on it?

No firmware flashing, nothing like that. (The reason being that there is a good chance I have an ''unhackable'' motherboard.) The thing is, it doesnt crash. I can still play music or run a game, but I cant see anything.

I guess I wasnt being specific enough, there seems to be some internal problem with the scree; there are no cracks. I turn it on, and the screen starts getting those weird lines going down in different colours.

EDIT: The link works this time, but the video was removed!
Well, I guess that if it isn't under warranty, you might as well just take it apart and check the *incredibly fragile* ribbon connections to the screen then put it back together and see if that fixes anything. If not...it could mean that either the screen or the motherboard are broken somehow. Guess you'd have to look into it more yourself.

might still be something about the screen, slack joints or something like that maybe

I will call sony tommorow to see if Im still under warrenty. If not, I have to options: 1) See if anyone on ebay wants a broken psp or 2) Try to fix myself. What should I do?

Doesn't hurt to try and fix it yourself. All you need is a small jeweler's screwdriver. If it's broken already, then there isn't much more you can break yourself. I've taken mine apart twice, and I haven't really broken anything.

(...I had to take it apart the second time because one of the speakers wasn't working...turns out I was shorted it out by crimping it the first time. works now.)

I guess theres no problem if I break something thats broken already...

But Im gonna need some instructions.

PSP Go huh? I never really felt like that hand held would really go anywhere. While some features are an improvement, the smaller screen size and costly price are a let-down.

Meh, fixing myself is to hard. lol. I will probobly sell it for like $35 on ebay.
Then I will get a psp go.

Of course it's not going anywhere, it costs too damned much. The 16GB of space is pretty much negligible considering how cheap memory is going for today. Bluetooth? Meh, couldn't hurt to include I suppose but it'll rarely get used. They should have crammed GPS into the thing, and maybe that camera. THAT would've made the price tag a little easier to swallow.
