PSP Go or 3DS?

My b-day is coming soon and I don't know what I should get for myself.
I sold my old iPhone 3GS for about 300$ and know I'm using the iPhone 4.
So I got myself 300$ and I'm deciding what I should get on my b-day (yes, I'm making a present to myself).
I first wanted a 3DS but its useless atm. and they don't sell games for it in my area.
But know I'm searching in amazon for the PSP go which is 120-170$, and as I heard its really easy to hack.
And it has 16gb internal memory so I won't have to buy a memory card for it.
But the 3DS update is going to be here in a couple of hours, so maybe its not that useless.
+ 3D, the psp doesn't have that,
I have never seen a 3DS in 3D in my life and I would love to see the experience.
The 3DS is kinda pricy, 250$, it costs more than a Wii.
The 3DS isn't hacked, but the PSP Go is.


So as you see, I don't know which to get.
Please advise me.


EDIT: I WILL GO PIRATE ANYWAYS, BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY REASON TO GET A PSP GO, DUH!

I'd go for the 3DS, and get Zelda when it comes out. Since they don't sell games in your area, get it online I guess.

PSP-Go doesn't support UMDs, and most of the greater games are there. It is only really great when you go pirate.


3DS on the other hand has many many great titles coming later this year. About 12 hours later will also come the internet browser + eShop. It isn't hacked yet, but trust me some games are really worth the purchase.

Hence, I voted 3DS.

PSPGO, hates me saying this as I love Nintendo but PSPGO is the way to go. 3DS lacks games, soon as it gets good software then get one. On the other hand pspgo has a huge number of games you can play with, run pirate games and homebrews if you wanted to.

If you buy a PSP Go it just ends up in the thrashcan next year. No more games will be released.
The PSP library isn't that amazing, the DS/3DS library is just amazing and will expand a lot the coming years.

Get a PSP Go
The 3DS has a small library with only a few games that are worth the interest. Also Go can be hacked easily. (but let's pretend its not and that you' should get it purely because of the good games the PSP has

Trust me in the long run...

Sony won't bother about their PSPs anymore.

They would only care about their two massive and expensive systems, named the PS3 and Vita (or NGP).

3DS would be better in the long run, but the PSP Go has some nice games that you can consider.

lolwut? Cool story bro. The PSP Library is EPIC. It's got TOO many amazing games which can last hundreds of hours. And a lack of shovelware which is great! Heck here's a few off the top of my head:

God of War (both of em)
Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy games (ALL of them apart from maybe 1 and 2)
The 3rd Birthday
Patapon
Tactics Ogre

And all of these will last the guy over 100-300 hours depending on how he plays etc. FFIV alone is like a solid 100 hours of content.


@OP: But I'm not telling you to buy a PSP, I was just getting some facts straightened out! It's your choice dude. If it were me I would wait for the NGP. or till 3DS gets hacked.

Hands down 3ds psp go didn really do anything for sony in the handheld market just brought up new problems like if u wanted to play a game u already had on a UMD.
