Hacking PSP Emulator

Okay... So I'm going to purchase a PSP solely for using emulators.

Which PSP would I want to use? 1000, 2000, 3000 or GO?

I was thinking of getting a 1000 with a broken UMD drive, since I don't really care about playing PSP games on it.



Thoughts? Are there any cool hardware mods I can do to this thing once I get it?

1000 is the safest route.
stick m33 500v6 on it and maybe the 1.50 patch - although nothing should need it anymore.

Get a Go, should be most comfortable.

I like the 2000 the best. Nice size and fully hackable if you get the earlier models

For just emulating, most things work on a Go (with 6.20 or 6.35 firmware).

I am using a Go for the same thing, but if you can get the 1000 for cheap, I say go for it.
