Hacking PSP Cheat Database

I was wondering what the most updated cheat database there is and why does tempAr come with 3 cheat.dbs? its pretty awesome that u can enable cheats in games. I was wonderting if there was a program like r4cee but for psp cheats?

TempAR comes with two main databases to handle the different types of cheat databases out there (and the last one's for PSX games running through POPS).

I'm not too sure on the specifics, but some types of codes can do things others can't, but the older code type has more codes in the database so it's kept around or something.
