Hi,

I have psp cheatup 0.31 and i put it in psp/game and when i select download cheats i get error "sceHttpGetContentLength error 80431072".
Can someone help me with this please?
My psp is on 5.50 gen-d3.

Cheers

that one is actually a simple fix shane, all you have to do is update the program itself, in that version sometimes it wouldn't get the info cause the link was too long ( i think thats the reason behind the error ) anyway just update the program and you'll be able to download all the cheats wirelessly and install them.

Thanks Vahnyyz,

Ok got it working thanks.
Now which is the best to install?
I installed 2 diffrents ones but held select with no luck.
I also pressed home twice whilst hold vol - and + but with no luck.
Can someone help me with this please?

honestly I'm not sure which would be best to install to be honest, with the cfw i have i use cwcheat, so I would consult your firmware's info with that. that should clarify everything, BUT chances are you're cwcheats as well, so try downloading and installing that, and see if it runs in the games you're testing, because "testing" cheats doesn't damage at all, it either works or doesn't.

so I'm back again, I've used PSP Cheatup 0.50 and I've downloaded and installed the cheats for CW, because from my understanding thats the only one that would support PSX games played on the psp (For example Legends of Dragoon). The problem is I can hold the select button down for 20 seconds and nothing comes up at all. I'm trying it out on Assassin's Creed Bloodlines, where I used to have cheats, and again nothing happens. In Assassin's Creed, if you've ever played it the Select button brings up the map. So if the map comes up obviously the Select button still registers the information when being pushed. I've checked my system software and it says 5.50 GEN-D3. I've made sure I've got the absolute latest one by checking the forums and things found through google search. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, and I'm hoping its something that can be easily fixed...

Please someone, anyone respond... if I'm missing any info that would be necessary to actually fix this i'll gladly give it.

I've had this problem before

Assuming that you have installed CWcheat correctly and seplugins have been enabled...have you tried enabling the GAME plugin in the Advanced configuration of the recovery menu?

ok, I tried it an nothing worked =\

idk maybe my settings are all off, could you tell me what all of your "settings" are in the recovery menu thing.. maybe something of mine is off somewhere else, also do you have anything in the plugins menu? cause I think I used to have something there in the m33 version but I've never really worked with the Gen-D series of stuff

My settings are as follows:

From the recovery menu:

Advanced > Advanced Configuration > XMB,GAME,POPS plugins are all Enabled

seplugins> cwcheat.prx, cwcheatpops.prx enabled

* I don't know what the if enabling the XMB plugins will do any help for cwcheats but i do know that GAME and POPS surely do.

I DID IT!!

I was missing all the plugins in the folder, and it wasn't registering at all

so i just copied in an older set of PSP>Game folder as well as seplugins to make sure it works and everything's fine

the only problem i have now is the pspcheatup but that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

where do i put the cheats. i downloaded the cwcheat engine and the cheats from the cheats database. i have a gen d3 5.50

1. Download CWCheat 0.2.2 REV.D from http://cheats.gbatemp.net/PSP/other/CWCHEAT_0_2_2_REVD.RAR.
2. Extract the INSTALL\seplugins\cwcheat folder to X:\seplugins\cwcheat (X: is the drive letter of your Memory Stick).
3. Extract cheat.db from the PSP Cheat Database to X:\seplugins\cwcheat\cheat.db.
4. Open X:\seplugins\game.txt with Notepad and add "ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheat.prx 1" to the start of the file.
5. In game press SELECT for 3 seconds to show the menu.

Skip any steps you may have already completed.

You may also want to try CheatMaster Fusion which I would recommend over CWCheat. Mostly because of the faster searches and better interface. In which case.

QUOTE1. Download CheatMaster Fusion R21C from http://cheats.gbatemp.net/PSP/other/CMF_R21c_EN.rar.
2. Extract the CheatMaster directory from the downloaded archive to the root of the Memory Stick.
3. Extract the CMF directory from the PSP Cheat Database to X:\CheatMaster\CMF (X: is the drive letter of your Memory Stick).
4. Open X:\seplugins\game.txt with Notepad and add "ms0:/CheatMaster/CheatMaster.prx 1" to the start of the file.
5. In game tap SELECT to show the menu.

Notes:
- To access the list of available cheats select Address Table and press SQUARE to toggle the cheat on and off.
- To load cheats from a CWCheat database select Load Table > Load CW DB (CWCheat DB is loaded from X:\CheatMaster\cheat.db).

Hope this helps.

Thank you for this!

Way to make it easy for me to use CWCheat on my psp

Couldn't get Cheatmaster to work on my PSP, but CWCheat works

I also find it quite easy to use, just a bit ugly lol. keep the updates coming! Help loads!

So uh, is it just me, or does the GBAtemp database have no cheats for Jeanne d'Arc? I set everything up, and I can see cheats for Pixeljunk Monsters, but not for Jeanne d'Arc.

You are correct. There are currently no cheats for Jeanne d'Arc in the PSP cheat database.

Maybe in the next update... maybe.

The PSP cheat database is very lame compared to the DS cheat database with only ~1/3 of games having cheats for them.

Ah okay, didn't know that. I guess the GBAtemp database has cheats for the newer games?
Well I just added the Changelog to the first post so you can see for yourself what has been added in the past few updates. Most major new games are added but some less popular newer games are skipped especially over the past few weeks as I usually try to make sure that there are at least a few basic codes for the newer games.

Hahahaha... well if you were to start doing any PSP cheats then I would have to step up my game because you would easily be better then me at making the cheats.
