PSP 3000 or 3DS Games?

Hey Everyone, so my birthday is in a few days and I'm excited. However, I have no clue what to get. Should I get some 3DS games or a PSP? I'm moving to China in July, so I want to play some really long games! Any suggestions on what to get? Thanks Tempers! ~

Get gateway or sky3ds and boom enjoy almost every 3ds game

if you want "really long games" get a psp, a memory stick (or memory stick adapter to put Micro sd cards, this way is cheaper)
put CFW and put loads of games...
also can emulate loads of consoles, including ps1, gba..

I don't really know anything about the PSP, so I'll just go ahead and suggest some long or at least long-ish 3DS games.

I'd also recommend a PSP. They are easily hackable, which will let you play a lot more games than you could get for the 3DS with the same money.

I completely forgot about that! Plus my buddy just told me he could give me daxter and some memory cards!

if you have spare micro sd cards (like 16-32gb) you can get a memory stick to sd adapter for 1-3 dollars...
i personally hate to change memory sticks.. preefer one big card..

but yeah, its what i said.. you hack it, and can load it with any psp games, ps1.. or emulators like gba, gbc.. it will give you much more than a 3ds can give now...
i don't know what devices you already got, probably you don't care about game boy games... but surelly a psp will give you much more..

Go psp if you like cfw,emulators and more mature games

Go 3ds if you like the games like Pokemon, bravely default, fire emblem, and others and get a gateway.

I love all games! I might be turning 18, but I'm still a child at heart. The PSP looks promising. I can get a used one for about 80 bucks then get the micro SD card adapter migles is talking about and I'll be golden! I think I'm going to buy the PSP. Thanks everyone!

Other than the CFW/emulation already mentioned, I love that the PSP can be hooked up to a larger screen via component cables, and every single handheld today should support that. My vision is terrible and the fact you can play it on a big screen is awesome. OT I know, but I wish the PSP had been more popular and had gotten the 3d remake of FF4, because despite it being impressive for a DS game, the DS isn't powerful enough to do its art style justice. The Complete collection remake is pretty good but the 3d version with PSP-level graphics would've been SEXY

Have fun with your PSP. Custom FW/easy to find "backup copies" of games, tons of emulation capabilities AND you can play it on a big screen with the 2000-3000. Such an underrated handheld.
