To be honest people can pick honestly what they want and no one should tell them what to do. Personally I prefer rxTools but I'm going to install luma on the 2ds I'm getting at game-stop on sale. Also The reason people don't change cfw because it will suck if you f**k up ( yes I know that a small chance) and lose everything. And rxtools is not that bad anyway

If you fuck up switching CFWs then you have no business being anywhere near computers. People don't understand that CFW isn't tied to your EmuNAND. Switching CFWs is no simpler and no more difficult than dragging files to your SD card. You don't have to install anything.

This is for everyone still on RxTools for noobish reasons. Please stop using RxTools, it is very outdated by this point, and most of the community will not be able to help you with your problems while you are on the CFW. Switch to either CakesFW or Luma3DS, as they both get frequent updates (cakes gets nightlies and Luma gets hourlies).

The other CFW's have way more useful features at this point, and they are much better for gaming purposes. You can do all the dumping features RxTools has with Decrypt9, plus more. You can run non-a9lh CFW sysNAND easily with MiniPasta or the regular PastaCFW. Trust me, upgrading to a CFW with more frequent updates, and a larger user base, will make it much easier for most of the community to help you with technical issues, and other maintenance things.
EDIT: Only didn't include duke_srg's fork because it's not officially released yet (still in prereleases/alpha) still check it out here.
EDIT: Because y'all are getting really butthurt, here's a clarification; this is specifically about the Roxas75 fork of RxTools, that hasn't gotten updates since February 10th.

Honestly, I'm not changing my cfw.
It works perfectly, I do not need anything else.
I learned the hard way. I updated my 3DS, and lost cfws.
Then downgrading came out.
What I'm trying to say is, if RXTools works perfectly fine for me, then what would be the point of changing cfws?

when i had menuhax i accdienly broke the hax a few times it it was a pain in the ass to get browserhax to work and i was sick of the yellow screens so i have a9lh now

RXtools still works perfectly for me. The few seconds lost on the rare occasion menuhax fails to boot are still less of a waste than the hours I'd need to burn to move everything over to A9LH sysnand.

Why would anyone change the theme on SysNAND when using Menuhax?

you could use menuhax_manager to change the theme of sysnand (or whatever) while retaining menuhax, probably to remind you or anyone that you're currently in sysnand and not emunand

eh but you can mess around with your 3ds as much as you want with a9lh as you can unbrick it with out hardmod unless you courrpt the a9lh partion. also menuhax is a userland exploit a9lh is a kernal exploit by using menu hax your using a userland exploit to trigger a kernal exploit
