If you only used the GW plug in and 3.4.1 launcher.dat, downloadable from the sc.dstwoplus website, are you safe from this brick bug issue?
That is to say, only people who tried to use a newer launcher.dat, downloaded from GW are at risk??
The reason I ask, is surely there is bad behaviour all round on this. Gateway have acted maliciously toward THEIR community (3ds modders), just to drive extra revenue.
Imagine if a car company had shares in goodyear, and they designed their wheel rims so they would cause blow outs with all other tyres.
Driving revenue through 'rent seeking' is pretty shitty behaviour, better that they further inovated their GW code to offer more features than DSTwo and get extra customers that way.
SC should have innovated their own software.
Users, if my first line in this post is true (is it?) are to blame, for foolishly updating to a newer version of launcher.dat from GW...
I'm not so well informed on this subject, still learning, but reading fast as I maybe foolishly ordered a dstwoplus for GBA and Snes emulation...... hmmm
