BwE found a way to access the errorlogs via UART and serial adapter.
I tried it myself and soldered wires to TX, RX, GND and connected them to my ttl adapter.
I see the output:
OK 00000000:3A
$$ [MANU] UART CMD READY:36
most inputs are echo'ing the input and giving this output:
errlog <-input
errlog <-echo
NG 00000000:4E <-output
some inputs are echo'ing the input and giving this output:
ß
ß
NG 00000000:4D
Any ideas what is necessary to bring the sb to accept commands?
This is something we definitely need to have done ASAP. What I plan to do in the coming weeks is take a fully working board and run UART after removing each RAM IC, SSD IC, controller, encoder, WiFi module and possibly (intentionally) cracking a few solder balls under the APU. I also plan to intentionally short several ICs using bridge wires (such as the TPM, diaglog ICs etc) and log each error as they spit out. Hopefully then we can have a reference point to work with...
I‘m also very interested in the meaning of the error codes for fixing some of my 2sec BLOD EDM020 boards with good voltage readings. On of them where I’m stuck now has only one error:
8080001A
Can somebody help me? For info: I swapped the TPM 2.0.
I swapped with one which has not the same number printed on cause I have no donor with exactly the same available. Since then I got this 8080001A error.
So I switched back to the original TPM but still 2 sec BLOD and TPM Power issues mentioned in the errlog.

I tested a bit around and shorted some power lines and read out the error codes. Clear the error codes and repeat it two times and test the same at a second ps5 board.
A short on WiFi/BT at the pmic 3.3V line results in the two error codes:

Thanks to the generally accepted codes on 3 consoles. On one
OK 00000000 808D0002 00000007 FFFF0005 10000100 2157 0016 4884 6BA0:1D
From the video TheCod3r 808D0002 Unknown 10 (TMP).
I understand correctly that the error is TPM Chip

I have the same error code list. And no further infos than 'Unknown (TPM)'
Did you check if more error codes are written in the log? (errlog 1, errlog 2, errlog 3,...)
As I wrote before, at shorts I get more than two error codes.

Here a longer error code list so far.. (Not my own work. Only forwarding)

Edit (24/03/13):
Since BwE claims the list was stolen from his work and it is a fake list with only "some" legit error codes,
I marked the known error codes I encountered myself. *? = Error code seen, but explanation not proven.
Feel free to contact me to complete this list.
If you are a business repair shop who is looking for a proven list of current error codes: BwE is offering an all-in-one program 'BwE PS5 Code Reader' with current codes: https://github.com/BetterWayElectronics/ps5-code-reader

Yes, this is the second time that a replacement of a TPM ic doesn't work. I also think that the tpm ic is married to the APU.
What is about the original tpm ic?
Hi @stetofix Do you know of a way to identify which RAM module is which on the PS5 motherboard? Just looking at the error codes, for example, "80801182 RAM GDDR6 2 8 defect" it would be great to know how to "count" or identify each module on the motherboard - which is module 2 and module 8 for example?
