There is no ETA for anything higher than 4.55 at the moment, it will release when ready, I would suggest not to go over 4.05; 4.55; 5.01; 5.05, in this order respectively.

I assume what he means by "Hopefully they will patch it soon", so he can release it!
Because if he releases it too early, it will be 100% patched on 5.50, assuming hoping his exploit will still work on 5.50.

so this means its working on the latest 5.05

No, you got it the other way around.

The BPF exploit was patched with FW 4.70, 30 May 2017 and he released the BPF exploit the 26 Feb 2018.

The namedobj exploit was patched with FW 4.07, 8 Dec 2016 and he never released the exploit, the people behind Fail0verflow made public enough information that enabled Specterdev to release the namedobj exploit the 26 Dec 2017.

Make your conclusions. ^__^

Edit: reading again his tweets, maybe he didn't had the namedobj exploit at that time. ^__^

2nd Edit: to make the records straight: his work, his rules, if he decide to never release his findings I'm OK with it.

This is probably a silly question but why make an extra effort for 5.01 if it's already known to work for 5.05? Is it that the exploit already got patched in later firmware so he is ready to do that one first? Otherwise why not just go for the latest possible one.
