I am looking to update my PS4 to play some newer games and go online again. I have a few trophies I would like to keep like my legit platinum from God of War but I also have a few trophies from fpkg games. Is it safe to update my console and then sync my trophies. I will delete all the fake game files but would like to keep my trophies.
We believe so, there have been no reported bans for people upgrading from 5.05 (having used hen, homebrew, and fpkg games) to latest FW.
The surefire method to potentially avoid a ban, is to delete any trophies from FPKG games, and remove any fake signed content.
If you've deleted the actual stuff you didn't have legit, trophies alone aren't going to tell sony shit about what you've done. for all they know you could have borrowed, rented, or used to have but lost/sold/threw out the games

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
