Hello everyone.

I hope I can find someone who can help me with my problem.

I have not been able to perform the hack on my PS4 Slim, because when I connect the PS4 cable to my laptop or any laptop, it does not do the step of verifying the connection, it only tells me that I should wait and skips to connecting a LAN cable.

I already tried to make a bridge between the adapters, share from the Wi-Fi adapter, use a crossover cable and still it never gets to the step of verifying the connection to go from stage 0, waiting for PADI.

Could someone tell me what else I can do or if my CUH-1025a version has no choice but to keep waiting.

If possible get a longer ethernet cord that can connect directly from PS4 to your router. You'll also get better speeds this way if you're installing a game via remote installer.

Also is there a reason you can't just use wifi to just get the exploit going?

I haven't been able to install Goldhen, because the pppwn step where it asks to test the connection does not start the network check, as if my ps4 did not recognize my laptop to do that step.

Is there any other way to make pppwn activate through the router or something else?

Oh I didn't realize you're trying to do pppwn I just use a usb drive on 9.0 with a browser exploit I've never done pppwn so I couldn't help you. If you're on 9-11.0 and wanted to use the usb drive method let me know.

Hello, I'm on 11.00, I updated it manually recently.

If there is a USB method to be able to install the Goldhen exploit, I would appreciate it if you could explain to me why I couldn't due to pppwn.

Get the jailbreak files needed for the usb drive by clicking on the video and get the link off youtube.

Friend, that is the method I am trying to use that uses pppwn, I just have the problem at the step at minute 4:46

My PS4, when connected to my laptop, does not try to take an IP, it tells me that it cannot find the LAN cable and does not let me continue.

Well then I am unsure I am on 9.0 and I do not use pppwn, but maybe 11.0 requires it. I thought 11.0 could do the same exploit as 9.0 but maybe not. Someone else will have to post to confirm.

All I had to do was put some files on a usb drive go to a webpage on the ps4 web browser run the exploit then it says insert usb drive and it tells you when it take it out and the exploit works like that. It doesn't matter if I use ethernet or wifi. If you were on 9.0 or below you should have stayed there there was no reason to go to 11.0 really, but maybe someone else can help you get it working.

This is the method I meant to show you it's for 9.0 but I can't guarantee it will work on 11.0 but you could try it. Again all files needed are below the video.

Thank you very much for being attentive and answering, but this option from 9.0 to 11.00 did not work for me either.

I think I'll have to wait another 6 months or a year for someone to make an exploit on the 11 that doesn't need the Ethernet cable.

Modded Warfare made a decent video tutorial about jailbreaking PS4 on 11.00 here. It might be helpful in figuring out why it doesn't work on your PS4.
There's also that handy Ethernet tool that you can use to jailbreak your PS4 about which he also made a video about.

Have you tried another ethernet cable
It seems that is not detecting a cable connected, since you tried different laptops maybe another ethernet cable could work.

Also, can you try to connect to the Internet using a wire, see if it's not a hardware issue with the ps4

Thanks but I have tried 3 different cables including a crossover one.

I have shared from the wifi adapter, I also bridged the wifi and ethernet of the 3 computers.

I tried the cables to my local home and office network, they all take an IP, it is even more so in the process of taking IP, I passed the cable to my laptop and it was interrupted, the PS4 simply does not see my computer as a device to take IP

wireless? wtf . I was talking about wired and I wrote wrong. on the device where you will run the program, you will set automatic ip to 4+6. the gs4 does not need to get an ip (you just have to configure it for ppoe in the console). put goldhen.bin on a stick, connect it to a usb and run the program on the computer.
I don't know English and this is a translation from my mobile phone.

Believe me, I have done those steps several times.

On the laptop I have the Ethernet port and the automatic IP network for 4 and 6.

On the PS4 I already have the goldenhen.bin on a USB stick, but the step it takes to check the connection never recognizes my computer to do the exploit and I have already tried 4 cables and 3 computers

If you prefer to speak Spanish I also understand it, in fact it is my first language

1) Install First.exe
2)PPPwn.exe
3)payload (stage2) ----- pppwn/exploit/stage2/(your firmware)
4)config------ ethernet
5)11.00(your firmware)
6)-Run Exploit-

best solution rasberry pi 2w ----- 16 giga sd------- mini usb ethernet adapter.

That's exactly what I do, plus the goldenhen.bin on the USB that goes into the PS4 port. But when I do the ethernet config step on the ps4, no matter how hard I try and it has the cable to the laptop, it doesn't try to assign an IP, that's why the exploit doesn't go beyond stage 0, it always stays waiting for PADI.

On the PS4 it shows a message to connect an Ethernet cable.

I have already tested the cable in several ways and used several and it still doesn't work.

use a cable from 4 to the router and from the pc to the router. 4 every time it says that there is no cable when we try with pppwn (pppoe setting). The problem in your case is not that it does not have an ip, but that you are in the rare case that the command does not go through. Try with the rasberry pi 2w (cheap and the console will have internet after the jailbrake, all automatically).

in -Run Exploit- tap and test connection on gs4? must write pass to progress pppwn.

Making the connection PS4 -> Router <-PC

Can I run pppwn and get the exploit to run? Or should I make some configuration so that pppwn recognizes that PS4 is testing the connection in ppoe?

As plan B, where can I get the Rasberry Pi 2w with what is necessary for the exploit?

Thanks for your response
