Wow, yeah. It worked. That was much easier than I expected. Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of my downloaded update and I'll be good. I saw it posted somewhere that once on the jailbreak, you could FTP in and delete it.

Edit: Actually, is there an updated guide on how to do..anything..with this jailbreak? Like how to install homebrew, how to FTP etc. I see stuff for the older versions, but nothing recent. Is it all the same still? I don't want to risk a brick by using an outdated guide.

When you reboot you must reactivate hen.
But in sleep mode you can't!

Can I ask a quick question (something I haven't seen covered). Is the 5.05 UPDATE.PUP universal for both US, EU consoles? As I can't find anything mentioned, I can only assume that both variants may be wrapped up in the same update and the update only pulls the files it needs from it. Also, once it is installed, are US and EU games both playable despite the machine's origin?

There are also homebrews in there but nothing major, dks testgame, pad test, alpha v1 and v2.

Is there a way to delete the update / is it possible to access the storage via FTP to delete the Update?

Yeah, sorry. I did see that, but it said guide update in progress, so I didn't know if it was safe to follow for the current version. I do have one question still though. In the guide, you mention FTP into the PS4 but I don't see how. Where/how do I set up the FTP payload on my PS4 to allow Filezilla to connect? Is there a website with one hosted that I can download from the browser? I'm still not fully sure how this works.

Run the ftp payload, it will pop up the port and ip. On pc connect filezilla to that location and bingo.
