Derp: use exfat, not fat 32.

Thank you sir.. that was the info I needed! For some reason I thought EXFat was just an open source port of FAT32 but I'm seeing now that it's max file size is 16EB... haha... These games are large but not that large!

I always use an MD5 checked SYS update pup (the 300mb one) and I update through safe mode (option 3) Via USB.

Damn, Sony only provides latest REC pup theyre not interested in maintaining old FW..... I would suggest use APPtoUSB until a REC pup surfaces, which could be never tbh....

In other words, dont update and dont upgrade internal hdd.... use external hdd... I might PM you in a bit as 5.07 is of interest to me

Do the usb updates to 5.05 using the regular updates file not recovery. Asks help in the AIO guide in the tutorial section if you needs help

There is a section on this page titled 'Alternative: Wifi USB Stick Self Hosting' which gives you instructions. I assume you need a wifi usb dongle, although I have never tried it.
