Hardware PS3 & WD 1tb My Passport

Hi guys,

I got a PS3 and recently i bought a WD 1tb My Passport USB 3.0 formatted as NTFS.I tried to connect it to my PS3 but it doesn't recognize the HD.

Does someone know how to solve this problem?

must be fat32

Thanks ryupower.I suppose that.
But I don't want to format the whole HD.Is possible to format as FAT32 jus a portion of the HD?In this case,will PS3 recognize that FAT32 partition?

it should do, but i won't confirm it. make sure the first partition is fat32 though
