Hacking PS3 Softmod Question

Im following Rydian's guide and i've replied on it but haven't heard from anyone. Is Jailbreak required to install CFW? Im following his/her guide and i didn't see any requirements of jailbreak for CFW 3.55 kmeau

1: Follow Zoura's Guide.

2: No you don't need to jailbreak it to install CFW, just be on 3.55 and used the CFW from his guide and install it.
