hi guys as title says one of my usb ports (usb000) on my ps3 slim is malfunctioning so i tried what ever i could including reseting my ps3 then reinstalling new firmware and also opening the case checking elements on board such as fuses and resistors it doesnt seem to have a problem and it has the dc 5 volts intact in that port i checked it with multimeter which left me one other potential reason and its the south bridge chip i used a very professional person's tools and talent in order to heat the chip but that didnt work too, next up i did change little 8 pin chips around the usb port and as you guessed it it was a failure too ! so i'm confused how can it be ? did you have any case like this or do you have any idea for me to do ? and please dont tell me to use a usb hub !
