PS3 Offline Trophy Limit?

Just to be sure, can you earn limitless PS3 trophies offline? Because Vita would limit you to 100 games until synced online. (Not sure if that means it stores the synced ones offline beyond the limit).

sorry for the delay, but the PS3 is not a handheld console, so a trophy limit would be redundant. I dont think there is a limit.

How about on a PS3 with CFW installed on it? How will new PSN trophy achievements work? (Syscalls on my PS3 30GB phat model are currently in a mode where signing into PSN is off-limits).

I don't think i am understanding this correctly, but I don't think syncing to PSN is necessary. I mean you have 20GB minimum on the hard drive to store trophy data, whereas the PSVita, in some circumstances, has no data you can even write to. Sony would have no reason to limit offline trophies.
