I own a Ps3 and have done since day 1 and can say the system includeing network play is easy 50% better than when it started. I know it played catch up with the xbox but it sure has now.

PS3 isn't even close to the Xbox 360 or the Wii. Distant last place everywhere except Japan.

there is only 8 mil difference between global sales of the 2 which isnt as much as your making it out to be (like the 360 and wii are neck and neck while ps3 is in the crapper)

the wii blows both of them away however

Here's hoping Backwards Compatibility makes its way to the PS3 sooner or later.
It's the only thing that's really missing.

and I have a bunch of ps2 games.

some people think that also, a simple firmware update will allow ps2 emulation back on with the cell

My bro bought our 40gb model brand new for $200 from some guy back before the first price cut was announced. To this day, I still can't believe we own a PS3 since it was one of those systems I don't expect any of us to buy any time soon, if ever. Though the only games I have for it are CoD 4 & WaW, as well as Little Big Planet and Fight Night :\ .
