Homebrew PS3 instrauments on the Wii

Although it would be nice I don't think it would ever be possible. You would probably need to create a whole new cIOS (driver) that could read the peripheral or something like that I would assume.

A USB microphone could quite possibly work other than that Wii Peripherals need the Wiimote connected what are you going to do BUTCHER the PS3 wireless guitar controller to fit it in and the Drums or just DUCT tape a Wiimote to it!?! lol!

The Wiimote is needed for the drums as well?

I was thinking if the wii could somehow accept a "Wiimoteless" instrument somehow?

just wishful thinking on my part, cause I have just the guitar for Wii and the whole set for PS3....

Rockband instruments don't use the Wiimote. Still this seems as impossible as playing with a 360 controller on a PS3.
