Hacking PS3: How to go stock from CFW

So I've had a hacked PS3 for a few months. Started with 3.41 dongle and went to Kmeaw 3.55. I want to go back to stock now (for PSN mainly and not getting banned). I realize what this entails and that there is a possibility I might not be able to hack my PS3 again. Just wondering if there is a guide or something out there for this process. I'm assuming mainly just back up saves, re-format HDD via PS3, reflash 3.55 via recovery, and then update to latest OFW.

Just recovery update ps3 to 3.55 and update to the new firmware. You may want to format your hdd if you have anything they might consider bad.

You are also going to want to reformat since you won't be able to use a file manager to delete anything you stored in certain locations once you update.
