Hacking PS3 Hen and CFW question

I have PS3 fat with firmware 4.87 right now since I update it for to sell it but then seller would not buy it or rather I said no to seller since I thought there were problems with thremal paste but it was not problem. Is it not possible to use OFW at 4.87? Is there any trouble with Hen at 4.87?
