Hardware PS3 disk reading problem

Currently I am having a problem with my ps3 reading disks, for a while it could be solved by continuously injecting and ejecting the disk. I have cleaned the blue ray scanner and made sure no scratches were made. The model is CECH- 2001B with firmware 4.46 not sure what to do.

note: it has been doing this for awhile at least since Spring this year, maybe even since Winter 2012/2013
