Hacking PS3! CFW

Since I'm a newbie which ps3 slim model is easiest to cfw without any errors and crashes also does it need to has a specific system software ver?

There will no crashes/errors if you'll follow the steps correctly. For which model i'll say go with 2100 series or the early 2500 ones that are below 3.56 as mentioned above, but honestly focus on getting one that is in good shape which is the most important thing IMO.

Below 3.56 that will be hard to find since a lot of people are auto updating their system

No, 3.56 is the minimum firmware the PS3 should be downgraded to if you want to install CFW. Even if the PS3 itself is on a higher FW. There's a app minvercheck IIRC, that tests/tells you if your Slim is compatible.

How do i know if it is compatible because i dont really want to buy the wrong one

You can check a list somewhere that has the production dates of the PS3 and letters like A, B, that helps you see if it's compatible or not. Also this is concerning the 2500 series only, as the earlier models are all compatible.

Ill check and post the model here when ill be able to get the ps3 from ebay
