Hacking PS3 CFW 4.66 how to update

Hello Guys,
have brought my PS3 from the attic after years. Now i want to update to the latest possible CFW. Is there any tutorial? Im on 4.66.

Change the file name to PS3UPDAT

Install from USB

No, he is on 4.66 so it is not possible. Only 3.41 and 3.55 are jail breakable.

The OP is already on CFW 4.66. No need to downgrade. In fact, downgrading is antiquated and no longer required. That guide is only for slims and superslims which can’t use CFW (and require ps3hen).

Okay. He didn't say if he has a slim or superslim. so I assume, that's why. For your original response.. I will wait and see if he succeed it.

Np, should already be done by now. It takes less than 10 minutes if you’re just upgrading the CFW
