Hacking PS3 Backup Files

So I recently stumbled upon a program capable of modifying the backup files of a PS3 (to some extent anyway).

Since the backup system seems to completely rebuild the PS3's system, would it be theoretically possible to rebuild the backup so it installs CFW on any ps3?
