Hacking Ps3 and ftp

Hi,

Just wondering if when i transfer games from
Pc to ps3 using ftp can i transfer the whole folder with the game folder inside?
At the moment i just transfer the game folder itself eg : 45 DFERFG.

I dont think so... Just put it in a rar archive... if there is a homebrew unrarer for ps3 im not sure

the file structure should be,

for internal hard drive:

dev_hdd0:/GAMES/Gran Turismo 5/PS3_GAME/

or for external hard drive/ipod/whatever:

the game names are just examples.

In other words, you can copy over entire folders. I've done it successfully with Resistance.
