^thanks.

EDIT: okay i think i understand, but can anyone confirm that this is right: you need a slide tool to do the 007 method, and you do not need a slide tool to do the AR method?

^Yes according to this:
http://freemcboot.info/swap.html

I'm trying to do it right now, ordered agent under fire and the stupid seller gave me nightfire...
I still don't get what is the 2nd level, and how the hell to I save in a middle of a level...

When I go to the level selection there are 3 options. In the first one, the 2nd level - "The Exchange" is already unlocked, so I just tried swapping there after quiting and highlighting the level, but it didn't work, it just continued playing...

Ok guys I did the whole soft modded thing for my ps2 slim-but I still can't play my imports.

Whats a "MC Memory Card" ? Is that what you're calling the memory card after the McBoot Patch? Or are you saying "MadCatz" Because... I needa know so I don't buy a 3rd Party card that doesnt work.
Also : Are any of these DVD's anygood? (I have alot of DVDs)

Memorex DVD+R (16x; 4.7GB; 120min video)
Compu|Cessory DVD+R (Doesn't specify rate; 4.7GB; "For General Use")
HP DVD-R (16x; 4.7GB; 120min video)
and then I got alot of CD-Rs... damn xD

welp, megaupload is gone, so cant download the file from the first post.

any newer links :(?

There are no megaupload links in the first post.

Just curious but is this still worth doing for me?
I've been wanting to catch up on some PS2 games that I've missed.
But I can use an emulator, so is it worth doing it?
Using an emulator, I'm guranteed to be playing within a short while, whilst if I softmod it, it could take awhile as I have to find a legal copy of Agent Under Fire or another working game, and I don't think any of the shops around here carry that anymore, leaving Ebay or something similar as my only option(s).
So, what do you guys recommend I do?

Theres the PS3 memory card adapter way. You can find it in just about every store. The retail price is 30$ but if UK is like canada just return it to the store once youre done...

I don't think there a tutorial here i know its on psx-scene I always tell myself i should do one but never take the time...

I'm pretty sure as long as the ps2 browser can access it, any memory card should work.
