Hi guys - so I saw a lot of videos on YouTube and various posts on various forums where folks gutted PS2s (slims and fats) and used the old housing exclusively as a Pi case.
So, I tried to go one better by keeping the PS2 working with its internal hdd and fitting the Pi with Recalbox/Kodi in place of the DVD drive.
I was a bit unsure of this before starting it, but it seemed to turn out really well! So I now have access to a few thousand retro games plus the PS2 with FHDB is working normally with an internal hdd - obviously, up to 2Tb.
It was very easy to do with a few basic tools. I’d love your thoughts on this one - has anyone tried anything similar with the PlayStation 2?
