sure. simply take your ps2, put it on top of the wii u and load a game on the ps2. there, now you're playing a ps2 game ON the wii u.

The console very much can, the problem is there's no interest in developing an emulator for it. Don't count on there being one for Wii U.

I know the console can, but no emulator is out yet, (other then that shitty retroarch one that doesn't work) so why would a ps2 emulator exist?

Yes, "shitty", works fine for me. But anyways, there's no interest and there'll never be interest in developing one.
