Hardware PS2 1080i help

So i have been using my second edition fat PS2 (with no I-Link port) for a year now, and was wondering if the PS2 video out to RF adapter (official sony one) would support 1080i for games like GT4.

1080i is likely only going to possible through component or scart cables.

RF is worse than composite cables, and you really shouldn't use RF unless you really need to.

ok thanks for the help, was just wondering cuz most TVs these days have HD RF input.

HD requires a digital signal. Before HDMI, pretty much all consoles produced analog video.
