Hardware PS Vita price

Does anyone know what the price of the Vita will be in the UK.
In the US its 299 dollars and in Europe its 299 Euros, but if you do a conversion from both into British punds sterling it comes out as £182 or £266

I know which one i prefer

Would that price appeal to everyone out there? The 3DS price has dropped below £160 in some shops, clearly 3DS might just keep its nose ahead if Nintendo backs it with good software.

£235 retail would mean around £200 mark at "some" places.

Well, I dont understand why people compare a handheld to a console.

PSV is going to be a blast of a handheld. If you dont own the PS3 and you feel the need of a home console first, then go for the PS3 o.o.
But they are not comparable and dont fit in the same category!

i'm not really comparing the two... but since i already own a ton of handhelds i might as well go for ps3. later on when more games flock in then i'll reconsider.
