hi guys i recently bought a ps vita for a few bucks, the problem is that it doesn't turn on, (i can enter recovery mode) but only two options appear: 1 restart the vita or 5 software update, if i try to update it with a ps3, It stays loading forever and never starts. I don't know what to do anymore, do you know any solution?

Yes I know, I try those methods too but they don't seem to work
How did you try and update it via a PC? Sony's own CMA software or the unnoficial QCMA software? I'm no expert and it's not known what the previous owner did to it, but it could be that someone has tried to hack it or tried to downgrade it while was hacked and it has failed somehow. If that's true, my guess is that whatever is left of the hack is blocking the update process and causing the vita to think it is on a firmware newer than it actually is. If that is so, I think QCMA can be set to ignore and/or over-ride that to enable the installation of any official firmware that your PS vita supports.
