Hacking PS Vita in FW 1.80, what should i do?

I just bought a used PSVita and I saw it is on the FW Version 1.80, I've been lurking around the forum and other places but some of those information contradict to others (most due being outdated).
So based on what i read there are some advantages by keeping under the 3.5X FW like PS1 emulation. Are those still a thing or everything possible for the PSVita is achievable in the FW 3.60 and i should just directly update to it?

BTW, the guy didn't formatted the console, therefore his PSN is still linked and it has § PSP games there, are they anyhow useful? (Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Shinobido)

u can use one of the psp games to install adrenaline. it's not worth staying on anything but 3.60. the flow said that sometime in January he'd be adding ps1 support to adrenaline too. plus, u can install vita backups as well as their saves, updates, and dlc.

The methods for PS1 emulation on 3.5X and under were very unreliable. You either needed a specific exploit game from the PS Store if you were on 3.18 or under, or you would have to try and set up PS1 rebirth bubbles very carefully if you were on 3.00-3.52. (Rebirth bubbles method never worked for me anyway, so it goes to show how tricky it was to set up.)

Retroarch for Vita offers a PCSX ReARMed emulator core on 3.60, while you're waiting for TheFloW to add PS1 support to Adrenaline. You can run almost all PS1 games without any game-breaking bugs if you run the emulator alongside a supplied BIOS file. I've tried a good few games with it already, and no issues to really report...

Also, TheFloW said he would add in PS1 support to Adrenaline in February, not January.

well, u need a psp game to install adrenaline. if u wipe the memory card, u'll have to buy a psp game urself or use a demo. I'm not sure if spoofing still works with regards to getting on the shop. it does with cma though. u no longer need vita update blocker as long as ur using the latest henkaku. taihenkaku and henkaku have effectively merged since taihenkaku was in beta 'till version 7.

btw, the smallest game to use with adrenaline is a little over 4MBs. it's a demo that requires u to use IDU to install its package and the psp or ps3 to grab its license. the game isn't meant for the vita, but it works. I've never done it personally. u might go with talkman tokyo which is 17MBs. it's not a demo and it costs $1.99 iirc. personally, I'd use the smallest game that guy left on the system.
