Hacking PS TV-wifi problems

Wifi, both open or wpa2-psk doesnt connect to the internet although the IP address is always found. My PS TV states connected half of the time, but when I run the internet connection test it fails to connect. My laptop doesnt have a Ethernet jack. Im USB tethering off of my phone. Can I use an ethernet to usb to connect PS TV to the internet? the device looks like this.

If your phone appears as a network card, yes you can connect the PSTV (or any device) to an ethernet port (that usb adapter is fine) of your computer, and configure "bridging" between the two interfaces!
