Hi guys I have a first gen switch that I recently installed home brew and retroarch. Any idea how to play PlayStation games on it? I haven’t found any good descriptive videos. The ones I found cause me an error when I get to finally load the rom

Not my proudest problem solving technique but it's helped me in the past.

I'm new to Homebrewing, CFW, and such. I find that if I'm having trouble seeking out esoteric info online I go to GPT for pointers/keywords details I may be missing and then verify by actually sourcing it via browsers. ^_^

1*-Can you elaborate on the error you are getting?
2*- What type of files / format are you trying to run? (ex: .iso .bin.cue.)
3*- What emulator are you using?

What emulator are you using? Retroarch or duck station?
retroarch and the ppsx I believe it is emulator

In Retroarch, update assets from menu options "online updater"... update all options actually and then relaunch Retroarch.
Tried this

Might need bios files too. Not sure if newer emulators need them or not.
I have downloaded bios files to the sd

I am using bin and cue files and it’s a long message that makes me relaunch and using ppsx

Duckstation for Switch As Purple_Shyguy said, "duckstation" is great. From my testing everything runs fast and well and you can upscale. Great emulator. Personally, it is my favorite way to play PS games on switch.

I got duck station downloaded but when I load it get an error message as well
