As many of you have known, Kirby Super Star Ultra is so painfully easy that you can complete all of the games in a little under an hour if you're good.

Now, this does not fly with me at all.

If anyone knows how to hack DS games, would it be possible to A: Reduce damage done by Kirby and helper's attacks and B: Increase damage taken by Kirby and Helper?

It would make the game more difficult and more fun and lengthy.

Sounds like more tedious and boring to me. The enemy AI is stupid, you can't make it hard, only tedious.

You can at least have them deal a bit more damage, and make things die less often. Bosses were soooooo weak...

i have M3 DS Real card and am getting "Initializing save data" message and game goes no further? any thoughts?

don't you get a option to play the gamw ith half your life after completing it with 100% like in the other kirby games?
though it's always that esy, and you can't complete the underground within 1 hour, or you have to know how to get all 60 treasure's before you start

Kirby games, in general, are quite easy. If you want a challenge, why not try another game? Megaman 9 comes to mind.

Also, part of the challenge of this game IS collecting everything. In most side-scrollers, the main goal is to clear all the stages. In Kirby, this is only a part of the main goal. Treasures factor into completion status for a reason.

Yes, Kirby games are supposed to be easy, and yes, MM9 is hard, I almost beat it.

Still, being able to kill an end-level boss with two upstrikes from a hammer is inexcusable. KSS on the SNES was never that pathetically easy.

I don't want to be disrespectful, but I really REALLY doubt someone will take the time and effort to do this for you just because you find it "too easy". Like it was mentioned before, Kirby games are supposed to be fun, quick, and easy. Not super challenging. I'm sorry, but I just don't see this happening. :\ Maybe Kirby isn't the game for you if you're looking for difficulty.

I'd love to, really, but I have no idea how.

Can it be much more complicated than changing around a few damage values in copy abilities?

Yes. I was going to even explain how, but I just don't think it's worth it.

Didn't Sakurai say that he created Kirby as a game for 'beginners'?

Apparently, he created Kirby when 'there was no games for beginners'

You mayyyyy want to try some other games if you're looking for difficulty.

Playing Kirby for difficulty is like doing some futile action for desired impossible result.

Have you actually gone through Revenge of the King or The TRUE Arena yet?

Or you could just play another game. There are TONS you know.

I personally think Milky Way Wishes is a decently hard mode. But yeah, it is a cakewalk up to that point.

I love the game though, I've been having a blast with it so far.

Increase the music volume while you're at it. For some reason it's extra low in this version.
