I know, that's how it was recently hacked, but a few months ago there was a bad vbulletin exploit going around and ProjectPokemon was a victim of it
Well, in any case similar to this one:

Change Your Password!!!

(For users that usually never change their password on project pokemon's website)

Yes folks, we have a basic website up as of now, while our Alpha works hard to bring the site up to a shiny new board.
In the mean time, I'm setting up a GitHub to upload the events archived.

Also as a repeat message, change your passwords (that are shared)
Typically, don't even share passwords.

I blame Team Skull. They knew we could arm an army of young trainers with hacked Pokemon, so they launched a preemptive strike.

Too bad for them, Pkhex is online in the wild, events are online. Unless they can bring down GitHub and personal computers,
I'm not worried about those data going missing.

The pity would be programs created by previous Developers..

GitHub is a big business that can build a wall made of money to keep nuisances like our hackers away, so that's unlikely.

I don't know how much was deleted nor how much is backed up. There's a few different versions of PKHeX from a few different time periods, so there's a slight chance old stuff is backed up somewhere, but to avoid getting everyone's hopes up, it's best not to count on it.

Someone who went by the name of Savi0r, shared this on the GBATemps IRC chat http://pastebin.com/McdVXiGc

They even shared parts of the dumped database.
The entire dumped database has been public for months (I assume they dumped it)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

there was an sqli exploit (as they mention in their chat) for forumrunner not too long ago, it's the same exploit that Epic Games, and other forums (I tried using it on epicgames, garena, and a few other sites, worked on all of them) suffered from.

ayo at least project pokemon release the PKhex on their site even tho it's been tear down by a 12 years old script kiddie that hates pokeman
eh they aren't really a skid for this, since they got initial access with the forumrunner vulnerability WAY before the vulnerability was made public in any way, they know their shit

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

But I am still pretty upset b/c of the fact that I did PM like every single admin and mod on there telling them that their site had been breached, and them clearly doing no sort of looking around to see what the issue could have been, or if things had been tampered with, but ey, they learned their lesson

If no one who developed pkhex minds I downloaded a copy from the site around a week ago I could throw a copy up for anyone interested along with a virustotal.

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
