I have been holding this back a while now but I can't keep it contained anymore...
Can I just point out that Professor Layton is the most unfortunate individual ever existed in any video games ever?!
I mean come on, the guy's a gentleman and he's never done anything bad and is always nice you can't help but feel happy for him.
But DAMN, the script writers have to be so cruel.
His mother died, his dad kidnapped. Separated from his most-beloved brother (he gave him his IDENTITY!). His best friend who arguable has the most influence on him, missing. Later found a villain. Has a wife, dead. Found his real dad, and he's a dick, this forces him to remember the old unfortunate events. His dad even tried to kill his own son, imagine how that must feel. Later found out his wife is still alive, just to be taken from him again by the cruel passage of time.
