WHOOOOO!!!!

I finished the first and second Prof.Layton games quite a while ago, so I've been looking forward to this one coming out in English

It's gonna be just as awesome as the first two ;D

Not only that, but I'm really looking forward to the film as well.. since I missed it when it was shown in a cinema >___> (And by film I mean 'Prof.Layton and the Eternal Diva')

Now I have to finish the second game so I can play the third!
You don't have to finish the series in chronological order.
Is there even a storyline in the series?
Yes, there's a storyline for each game.
Sometimes, the game makes references to previous games but they're usually very subtle.

yes, there is a storyline. as you may know, some characters (girl from curious village, the cop guy, the arch-villain, etc) are carried over, some story elements are referred to etc. there's enough so series veterans have a better grasp of what's happening while newcomers can still just play and not worry too much about reference A about guy C that happened insetting B. lolz

QUOTE(xx_cutie_xx @ Aug 20 2010, 11:43 PM) It's coming out in Europe on October 22, 2010.
But it's coming out to the US on September 12, 2010.
also Japanese version has been out since 2008 with name "Layton Kyouju to Saigo no Jikan Ryokou (J)"

I can't wait for Specter's Flute now(the 4th game). The 100 hour RPG at the end of it looks awesome, hopefully it's included in the US release.

100 hour RPG in a Layton game,now I'm curious.
Too bad it will a year or 2 until we get that...
