Anybody got this working? It works without arm7, you just can't save, which sucks. With the fix, it loads and works but only with a black screen. You can hear the music and touch the screen, so it works, just completely without visualization.

No, no other firmware works for the DS-X.

This "black screen" thing seems to be popping up on games lately (check Scorpei's DS-X compatability list)... not sure what it is. Could be a type of copy protection, though I doubt it because I haven't heard of it effecting any other flashcarts. I have a feeling that it's more likely that it's another ARM problem similar to why we need the "new ARM7 fix". I'm just speculating, though, I'm not sure about the technical details behind any of it...

Replace the Arm9 also thats what fixed gta.

The DSX is dead, and will never rise up again, except in p1ngy's heart. GO buy something else. Your better off with an incredibly cheap TTDS that's only $5. or even less. Or even a crappy R4. Or a clone. But if possible, an Acekard 2.1.
