Hi all, I just got my 4gb micro sdhc card from gaming lagoon and i put it onto my computer seeing that it wouldn't work when i tryed to put files on it. I then formatted it to FAT and it now works, but the capacity has decreased to 1.85gb. I tried to format it to FAT32, but it still says 1.85gb of space. Have i permanently destroyed the space on my card, or is there a way to get it back?

Thanks for the help.

Maybe you got a fake card? 1.85 GB is the size for a normal 2 GB microSD.
Just to clarify, that other space is either used for the file system (FAT) or is just the difference between what people consider to be a gigabyte (either 1000 or 1024 MB).

I also agree, sounds like a 2GB card to me. Send it back for a replacement if you can.
