Gaming Problem with PSP

Whenever I click my home button and select the option to go back, it gets stuck in 'Please wait...' message
I currently have 5.50 Gen-D3 installed on my PSP.

It gets annoying because it makes my power switch unusable [It doesn't turn off] so I have to remove the battery.
Any help would be appreciated and please I don't want any hate/wars about m33 and gen cfw.

disable the psplink plugin or remove it

How long do you wait on "Please wait..."? If it freezes there for me all I do is wait for a little while and it turns itself off.
