Hello,

I'm new to thepsp hacking community, so here it goes.
I have a used psp 3000 with OFW 6.37 and I want to play Tales of VS.
I have the iso and I tried finding a way to play it on my psp.
I found this program, iso2eboot, to transform the iso into an eboot file.
So I follow all the steps, but at the end, I don't get the file like I'm supposed to.
I get a PSP/game/Tales of VS folder, but it's empty.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you

It doesn't work with CSOs because the official loaders don't support that kinda' compression.

You'll want to convert it to a CSO (no no, keep reading) and make sure to rip out the UPDATE files (totally not needed) and perhaps an extra movie or something you don't like. Then when you convert it back to ISO those files will still be missing, and it will be a lower-size ISO (missing some content).

Ok, I was able to create an EBOOT file by deleting on file in the Update folder. Thank you.
I put it in the PSP/game folder on my memory card but I haven't found how to load the game.

The game could not be started (80020148)

I'm stumped. I read I have to access the recovery menu.
But that's only available if I have a custom firmware right?
