After some deliberation I decided to try installing the Homebrew Channel on my Wii. I used the LetterBomb exploit to do so, and now have BootMii as well. I can load HBC fine, but I seem to have problems getting a game running on it. I downloaded Guitars on Fire as a test, put all the necessary files on the SD card and put it in the Wii. I can get HBC to recognise the game and an icon is displayed, but when I click load I get a black screen with a green bar across the top.
I'm assuming it's down to how I've structured the folders on the SD card, so I was wondering if somebody could clear it up for me. This is what it looks like:
SD Card (F![smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
>apps
>>GuitarsOnFire
>>>gfx
>>>sfx
>>>songs
>>>stage
>>>boot.dol
>>>icon.png
>>>meta.xml
>bootmii
>>...
>private
>boot.elf
>installer.txt
As far as I can tell, this is what it should be. Is the problem down to structure or something else? Thanks for any help.
Also, apologies if this is in the wrong place.
