Homebrew problem with getting the right file

sometimes when i get a game it doesnt come with a .nds file instead it has a bunch of other files

has this ever happened to anyone else? or does anyone know what to do to make the game work on an r4?

you have to extract those files with a program like winrar or 7-zip.

well thats the thing, on the games that dont have a .nds file there is no zip thingy

i just open the main folder and inside it is a bunch of files but no .nds

Get 7-zip (free) and extract the .rar file, then you'll get your .nds file.

ook, it doesnt seem like its working

do i use compress, decompress, list contents, or test integrity?

After installing 7-zip, right-click the .rar file and select 7-zip -> Extract here.

This might not help you but, on try pressing CTRL then clicking it. IIRC CTRL+click on Macs is equal to right clicking, unless you have the Mighty Mouse, then you already have a right mouse button (and 2 more IIRC)

You should be able to use UnRARX to extract the file. The first .rar file is the first par, so thats the one you should extract from (make sure all of the files are in the same place).

I don't use a mac, so I can't tell you how to use it, but it should be what you're looking for.
