Hacking Problem with Gateway CHMM 2

Im sure this question has been asked a lot already but i cant really find clear answers right now, so im asking anyway.
Im using a Gateway on my n3ds and got both cards red/blue to run on 9.2 downgradet sysnand (11.0 Emunand). Everything was totally fine. Then i tried to use CHMM2 for some custom themes but it kind of crashed and rebooted my 3ds. It did reboot me into my sysnand, i recognized it because it always had a orange dot on its eshop icon. Then it asked me to update my 3ds, i thought it was from CHMM 2 at this point because my wlan was off and not even enabled in my sysnand (wlan wasnt even activated on my router this day). I blocked the sysnand wlans with dummys. End of story was, it updatet my sysnand to 11.0 and i have no idea how, but it did. Is there any way i can hack my n3ds again? Or do i have to Hardmod now? I guess my original 9.8 sysnand dump wont help me either now since i cant enter homebrew in any way? Everything i found so far is some experimental stuff with the game field runner.

Yeah you will need to hardmod (unless you have a second 3ds to do dsiwarehax with). Why don't you have a backup of 9.2? Anyway you can flash the 9.8 one back and downgrade from there.
Since you're going to have to hardmod anyway, you may as well then install a9lh. Your console will then be resistant to "accidental" updates like that (it will still work even on updated sysNAND).

the 9.8 dump was from when i downgraded so i could fix a brick. Well thank you, but i cant do the hardmod myself so i guess ill just buy another one and let this semi brick wither away for another 1-2 years until 11.0 is hacked in a way i can use too.

What? No oO this n3ds is 1 week old and my first hacked console, i just dumped my nand before i downgraded so i could later save it when its bricked. If i could do hardmods or know someone my live would be a whole lot easier and cheaper...

That's not possible. You can't dump a NAND from a console on 9.3 or greater without a hardmod (or without access to dsiwarehax).

Hmm ok, than its a 9.2 dump, doesnt make a difference though ^^

It makes several differences actually
1) You said you made that backup before downgrading? You downgraded for no reason if that was 9.2.
2) Once that backup is restored, you won't need any more downgrade, unlike what would happen with a 9.8 backup.

I already stated that i was wrong and it is a 9.2 dump i made with my Gateway after downgrading from 9.8 it had out of the box. still it doesnt make any difference to me since my n3ds is working on 11.0 now. I cant do the hardmod and i dont know anyone who can, so its a useless brick for me now(not actually bricked). I will use my normal n3ds XL without any hacks for now and just buy another n3ds next week when my money rolls in.
