Gaming problem with booting dsi

Hey guys,

a friend offered me his DSi for a really nice price...
BUT:
its kind of broken,
it won't boot anymore... only till the nintendo ds logo...
then it freezes... i can't even go to the menu or stuff

he never opened his ds,
maybe a loose wire?

every help would be usefull!

i repaired some ds phat and ds lites before,
so im not that kind of a noob

It is freezing at the place that the DSi should read the header of the game card, try to remove any game card or slot 2 game, if the problem continues, then it is %100 a problem in the BIOS, try contacting Nintendo so they could reinstall for you the BIOS.

You can try removing the battery and keeping it removed for 5 minutes then put it back, this way you have reseted the DS BIOS Info.
